Jerry L. “Pa/Ba” “Phred” Conner – 67
Of Lake Park, GA passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021 in Lowndes County, GA after a sudden illness. He was born in Hahira, GA on July 27, 1953 to the late Carrey & Hazel (Kirkland) Conner. Jerry served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era. He worked as an air traffic controller at Miami Air Route Traffic Control Center and Raleigh-Durham Airport. Following retirement he spent several years in Alaska where he enjoyed gold panning and playing music in Teeland’s Coffee Shop. He was a member of Lake Park Church of God. His passion for music and musical instruments was immeasurable. Jerry enjoyed fishing, woodworking, traveling by car and in his RV, cruising and spending time with his family and picking on his grandchildren. With Jerry, everyone had a nickname. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law: Carolyn Conner.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, April 25, 2021 in the Lake Park Church of God, 900 W. Marion Ave., Lake Park, GA 31636.
