Jerry Wayne Inscore, age 74, of Valdosta, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his family. Jerry was born on January 6, 1951, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to the late Walter Clay and Lucille Ann (Fletcher) Inscore. He proudly carried on the family legacy as the second-generation owner and operator of Southland Upholstery, a role he held with dedication since 1970. A man of many passions, he earned his private pilot’s license and found peace and adventure soaring through the skies. He loved the thrill of deep-sea fishing in the Gulf and the freedom of the open road on his motorcycle. He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Penny Inscore of Valdosta, Georgia; his sisters, Margaret Johnson of Flintstone, Georgia, and Linda Reaves Harris of Valdosta, Georgia; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
