Of Valdosta, GA passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Langdale Hospice House. He was born on August 19, 1942 in Lakeland, FL to Joseph and Verdine (McPhail) Lewis. He served our country proudly in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Azalea City Church of God and the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his Wife, Barbara Ann Lewis of Valdosta, GA; Daughters & Sons-in-Law, Donna & Everett Harrington of Valdosta, GA, Sandra & Steve Winburn of Live Oak, GA, Liane & Phillip Holbrook of Valdosta, GA; Son & Daughter-in-Law, Douglas & Breena Peters of Sophia, NC; 17 Grandchildren;
13 Great Grandchildren; Brother & Sister-in-Law, Donald & Marion Lewis of Brooksville, FL; and several extended family members.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 8, 2017 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial at Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Messages of sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
