Naylor

Jerry Preston Sant, age 86, of Naylor, Georgia, passed away at home peacefully on the evening of Saturday, October 3rd, 2026. He was born on July 9th, 1940, in Wendell, Idaho, to Noman Sant and Ivora Nelson Sant.

Jerry proudly dedicated 22 years of his life to serving his country in the United States Air Force. He continued his commitment to service for another 22 years as a civilian employee. He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Above all, Jerry was a devoted family man who cherished the people he loved and found joy in the simple moments of life. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was known for being quite the prankster. He loved making people laugh, teasing those closest to him, and keeping everyone on their toes. His playful spirit and ability to find humor in everyday life will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Jerry enjoyed the simple pleasures of life and treasured time spent with his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, service, and countless memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Noman and Ivora Sant; his first wife, Linda Rae Sant; and his second wife, Linda Nell Sant.

Jerry is survived by his children, Elena Sant of Naylor, GA; Ronda Owens of Lakeland, GA; Devin Sant (Anastasia) of Ft. Lupton, CO; Ronnie Colbert (Angie) of Lake Park, GA; Roberta Lynn Brooks of Lake Park, GA; and Donna Green (Tom) of Lake Park, GA; his grandchildren, Morgan Pearson (Matt) of Naylor, GA; Heather Owens of Adel, GA; Kyle Meeks (Courtney) of Lake Park, GA; Kenny Meeks (Jesse) of Lake Park, GA; Matt Brooks (Melissa) of Valdosta, GA; Justin Colbert of Rabun Gap, GA; and Jared Colbert of Lakeland, GA; 24 great-grandchildren; brothers, Noman Lynn Sant (Susan) of Benton City, WA, and Anthon Leon Sant (Christine) of Blackfoot, ID; sisters, Christine Butcher (Charles) of Pasco, WA, and Dorothy Ann Wilkerson (Rusty) of Twin Falls, ID; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.

Jerry will be deeply missed, but his laughter, his stories, his mischievous sense of humor, and the love he had for his family will live on in the memories he leaves behind. He may be gone, but we know he probably left one last prank behind for someone to find.

A special thanks to Heart of Hospice and Lynn Raines for the love and care during this difficult time.
