Jessica Katherine Gray

Jessica Katherine Gray, age 59, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida on October 17, 1966.

She was a kindhearted woman who deeply loved her family. She had a special love for animals and found great joy in fishing, especially the peace and beauty of the outdoors. Her favorite Bible verse was Matthew 17:20, a reflection of the strong faith she carried throughout her life. She was also lovingly known as Kathy McDonald.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jackie McDonald and Bryce Fletcher; four boys; brother, Mitchell Wilkerson and son- in- law, Andrew Vaughn.

Jessica is survived by her daughters, Naomi Vaughn of Lake Park, GA and J-Ann Landin (Alex) of Leesburg, GA; grandchildren, Natalie and Evelynn; father of her children, Jay Pate of Sylvester, GA; brothers, Bo Deas and William “Ike” Deas; sisters, Debbie Gantt and Elaine Goble and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at Bethel Church of God of Echols County, Georgia. Kind words and expressions of sympathy can be left for the family at www.musicfuneralservices.com.
