Jessie Johnson

Jessie Johnson – 82 of Hahira, GA passed away on Sunday May 3, 2020 in Tallahassee, FL after a lengthy illness. She was born on July 9, 1937 in Valdosta, GA to the late James and Margaret (Burdell) McGuyrt. Jessie remained in the Valdosta area for her entire life. She worked as a nurse aid for South Georgia Medical Center for many years until her retirement. In her free time, she enjoyed fishing, sewing, and spending time with her family. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Johnson; son, James Johnson; brothers, James McGuyrt, Jr. and Monroe McGuyrt; sister, Margaret Clark.
Survivors include Daughter and Son-in-law, Margaret Esther Levina McGuyrt (Milton Haland) of Ray City, GA; Son, Robert Lee Johnson, Sr. (Bobby) of Las Vegas, NV; Son, Michael Andrew Johnson of Nashville, GA; Daughter, Susan Dyal (David Moore) of Hahira, GA; Caretaker and close friend, Terry Johnson; Grandchildren: Allen, Jim, Carol (Howard), Brandy (Ed), Hannah (Robert), Herby, Amanda, Caleb, Robert Lee, Jr, Lee Roy, Chad, Jenny (Geo); Great Grandchildren: Eddy, Amy, JD, Grace, Anna Bella, Gage, Jamie, Issac, Gabby, Mikahela, Brayden, Dawson, Sara, Chanda, Matt, Amber, Brittany, Ethan, Alley, Landis, Gabriel, Bailey; Great Grandchildren: Genesis, Maddy; Daughter-in-law, Irene Johnson of Hahira, GA; Sister, Patricia Harrell of Valdosta, GA; Boyfriend, Gerald Skinner of Hahira, GA
