Of Valdosta passed away Sunday February 6, 2005 in South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was born on December 16, 1913 to the late W. J. Will & Lota Robinson Carter in Lanier County and had lived in Florida most of her life. Mrs. Douthit was Methodist by faith. She was a member of the Eastern Star and a past Matron.

John C. & Phyllis Douthit, Valdosta, GA
Grandchildren: Todd Douthit, Brad Douthit, Paul Douthit & Lynn McConnell
2 Great Granddaughters: Pagen McConnell and Chelsea McConnell
Memorial service were held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday February 8, 2005 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with Rev. Milton West officiating.
