Jimmie Moore

Jimmie “Dimple” Moore – 74 of Lake Park, GA passed away on Wednesday April 15, 2020 in her home after a lengthy illness. She was born on May 1, 1945 in Ringgold, GA to the late James Bradford and Dovie (Vaughn) Bradford Whittle. Jimmie worked as a secretary in the insurance industry for many years until her retirement. While she enjoyed traveling, dancing and any opportunity to spend time with family, her heart was her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Brian Lockwood and brother, Greg Stark.
Survivors include her Husband of 46 years, Richard Moore of Lake Park, GA; Father: Hugh Lee Whittle of Crawfordville, FL; Daughter and Son-in-Law, Ricki and John Hills of Lake Park, GA; Sons and Daughter-in-Laws: John and Terri Lockwood, Jr. of Apple Valley, GA, Larry and Cheryl Lockwood of Valdosta, GA, Billy Jo and Sue Lockwood of Valdosta, GA; 19 Grandchildren; 23 Great Grandchildren; a number of great great grandchildren; Sisters and Brothers-in-Law: Joy and Tom Mackey of Fernandina Beach, FL, Colleen Hall of Brooksville, FL, Elaine and Ken Roberts of Auburndale, FL; Brothers and Sisters-in-Law: Bill and Denise Bradford of Lake Park, GA, Robert and Roxanne Stark of Tampa, FL, Jim B. Bradford of Auburndale, FL, Freddie and Kitty Vaughn of Chickamauga, GA and a number of nieces and nephews.
As per her wishes, she will be cremated and a Celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, at www.stjude.org .
