Jimmie Iris Pierce Myers 91
Of Yuba City California passed away on January 14, 2005 at her daughters residence in Yuba City after a short illness. She led a full and happy life of 91 years. She was a devout Christian, a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and Aunt to her family. Iris was a friend of all people, and lived her life serving others with her love and kindness. She was born on November 28, 1913 in Lanier County and graduated from Lanier County High School in 1930. She remained in Lakeland until she moved to California to be close to her daughter Christine. She had a great love for the environment and always had her garden of flowers and vegetables to share with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by one daughter Clara Lynn; husband, Hubert Myers; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Pierce and one sister Clara Lee.
She is survived by:

Funeral Services were held at 3:00 P.M. Friday January 21, 2005 in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services in Lakeland with burial in Fender Cemetery in Lanier Co.
