Of Clyattville, GA passed away Monday, June 19, 2017 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on August 27, 1954 in Clyattville, GA to the late Johnny Leland Covington and Clara Mae White. He worked as a painter for many years. He was a joking, loving, and hard working person that everyone loved to be around. He also loves going to the beach and spending time with family. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by 2 brothers; Leland Covington and Harry Lee Covington.
Survivors include: Wife of 43 years,Grace Lee Covington of Clyattville, GA; Son & Daughter-in-law, Jimmy & Joy Covington, Jr of Statenville, GA; Daughter & Son-in-law, Angela & Josh Covington of Clyattville, GA; Daughter, Gracie Tyson of Clyattville, GA; Daughter & Son-in-law, Kerry & Brad Rowan of Clyattville, GA; Daughter, of Harley Lee of Clyattville, GA; Daughter, Chrystal Covington of Clyattville, GA; Numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren; 2 Sisters, Leona Nobles of Lake Park, GA; Blanch Starling of Lake Park, GA; Brother, Roy Covington of Naylor, GA; Numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
