He was born on March 28, 1941 in Adel, Georgia to the late June & Emma Hewett. He worked as a printer and served in the U.S. Forces. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Junior Hewett, S.A. Hewett, 3 sisters, Mary Dickerson, Frances Chauncey, and Clara Hewett.
