Of Adel passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2009 in South Georgia Medical Center. He was born in Little Griffin Hospital, Valdosta, GA on January 9, 1951 to Jurelle Norris and the late Thomas B. Norris. Jimmy enjoyed various forms of employment culminating with his favorite, then called Micro-Flo Company, Sparks, GA. Jimmy was previously employed with Micro Flo for 20 plus years. He loved the outdoors, particularly hunting and fishing and was an avid NASCAR Racing Fan. He is a faithful member of Grace Community Chapel, Valdosta. He is preceded in death by his daddy, Thomas B. Norris
Survivors include:Son & Daughter-in-law, Jasper & Melodie Norris, Step Daughter & Husband Stephanie & Clay Shill, 6 Grandchildren, Mother, Jurelle Norris, Brothers & Sisters-in-law, T.C. & Stevie Norris, Bobby & Jo Norris, Sisters & Brother-in-law, Marsha Webb, Charlotte & Greg Turner, Several Nieces and Nephews
Funeral services held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 24, 2009 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with Elder T.C. Norris officiating. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery, Brooks Co. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service time Saturday, October 24, 2009 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Community Chapel, 4513 Bemiss Road, Valdosta, GA. 31605
