Jimmy Lee Warren – 82
Of Nashville, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Berrien Nursing Center, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on June 19, 1944, in Berrien County, Jimmy was the son of the late James A. Warren and Toy Browning Warren.
Jimmy was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to providing for his family. He began his career farming before transitioning into the construction industry, where he worked for many years as a skilled carpenter. He took pride in working with his hands and was respected for his craftsmanship.
In his free time, Jimmy found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved tending his garden, spending time fishing, and taking rides through the countryside.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Clarine Iris Cox Warren; his daughter, JoAnn Humbers; siblings: Lamar Warren, Colman Warren, John Warren, Velma Newbern, Sue Durrance, Fredia Rowan and Haddie Roe.
He is survived by his children: Debra Mizell (Jimmy) of Homerville, Georgia, Jimmy Dwayne Warren (Connie Elaine) of Lakeland, Georgia, Teresa Allen (Lee) of Homerville, Georgia, Deloris Clayton (Reagen) of Carrollton, Georgia and Jennifer Johnson of Homerville, Georgia; grandchildren: James Mizell (Tracey), Jessica Musgrove, Sebrina Allen (Matt), Marybeth Price (Will), Ashley Westberry, Cassidy Warren, Raven Jordan Gascoyne, Courtney Medina (Juan), Victoria Douglas, Ray Clayton (Amber), Crystal Heyboer (Zack), Chloe Hubbard (Jacob), Ryan Clayton, Caleb Johnston (Madison Teston), Caitlin Jewell (Cody), Heather Graddy (Brock) and Johnny Thomas (Marcia); numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; numerous cousins and extended family members.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 19, 2026 at Bethel Holiness Baptist Church, Nashville with burial to follow in Guthrie Cemetery, Nashville. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday, July 19, 2026 at Music Funeral Services, Lakeland.
