Joanne Patricia Coppage – 77
Of Valdosta, passed away at Tallahasee Memorial Hospital on Thursday, December 31, 2020. Mrs. Coppage was born on October 30, 1943 to the late Manton Wesley and Katie Dewitt Ganas in Valdosta Georgia. Joanne enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter and granddog “Buddy”. She also loved cooking, gardening and had a heart for taking care of others. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Ronald Coppage.
Survivors include, Daughter; Robin C. Wetherington and husband, Daniel Deaver of Valdosta; Granddaughter, Chesley Anne Wetherington, Valdosta;Grandson, Andrew Deaver of Valdosta; Sister, Shirley G. Harnage and husband Jerry of Lake Park; Brother, Joseph Wesley Ganas and wife Joyce of Valdosta; Grandson, Jonathan Coppage of Valdosta; Stepson and fiancé, Junior Coppage and Darlene of Valdosta along with several nieces and nephews.
As per the family’s wishes, Joanne will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
