Of Naylor, GA passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, GA. She was born on April 27, 1935 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Robert and Ruth Lott McKinney. She had lived in Naylor, GA for 49 years and worked as a sales associate at the BX at Moody Air Force Base before retiring in 1976. Mrs. Farmer also sold Avon in the Naylor area and she attended Naylor Baptist Church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, MSgt Jack E. Farmer, a daughter-in-law, Joyce Farmer, and a brother-in-law, Edward Hagan.
Her survivors incude: Daughter & Son-in-Law, Debbie & John Bush of Lakeland, FL; 3 Sons and Daughter-in-Laws, Robert & Stacey Farmer of Naylor, GA; Jack Farmer & Sabrina Petty of Naylor, GA; Doug & Mary Beth Farmer of Naylor, GA; 14 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren; 1 God Child, Ryan Camp of Douglas, GA; Sister, Janet Hagan of Pittsburgh, PA; A Very Special Friend, Judy Carosa of Naylor, GA; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday, March 30, 2013 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in the Good Hope Cemetery in Lowndes County. The family will receive friends from 7:00PM until 9:00PM on Friday, March 29, 2013 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
