Joe St. Cyr – 69
Of Valdosta passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was born on September 13, 1944 in Dade City, FL to the late Lonnie Joseph & Francis Louise Douglas St. Cyr. Mr. St. Cyr served in the United States Army. He was a jack of all trades. Before ill health forced his retirement he worked with Bayliner Boats. He also served in the Lowndes County Volunteer Fire Department and was a first responder. Some of his hobbies include: fishing, hunting, CB operator, watching nascar and working on his truck.
Survivors Include: Wife of 45 years, Betty St. Cyr, Valdosta, GA; 2 Daughters & Son-in-law: Kim Zuchnik, Valdosta, GA, Tina & Chris Brisson, Valdosta, GA; 4 Grandchildren: Amanda Brisson, Ansley Brisson Lane Coddington, Magan Dupree Justin and Justin Zuchnik; 3 Sisters, Doris Matthews , Plant City, FL, Jeanette Burke, Riverview, FL, Linda Brockman, Zephyrhills, FL; 3 Brothers & Sister-in-law, Tommy St. Cyr, Plant City, FL, James & Debbie St. Cyr, Tampa, FL, Riley St. Cyr, Zephyrhills, FL and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family would like to sincerely thank James & Debbie St. Cyr for always being there. As per his wishes he will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 3, 2014 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. In lieu of flowers please make donations to
