Joe Ed Griner – 82
Of Stockton, GA passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at his home. He was born on June 17, 1935 in Nashville, GA to the late John Wesley and Ethel Joiner Griner. He served for over 44 years in the United States Army and National Guard having spent most of his time in the National Guard and was a member of the American Legion Post 13. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Matt Griner and grandson, Andrew Griner.
Survivors include: Wife of 56 years, Nannette Griner, Stockton, GA; 3 Daughters: Dedra Prinkey, Tifton, GA, Jolee Caldwell, Valdosta, GA, Patti & Jason Jones, Valdosta, GA; Sister: Ernestine Folsom, Valdosta, GA; 11 Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and extended family members
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. Messages of sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com . The compassionate and caring staff of Music Funeral Services of Valdosta is serving Mr. Griner’s family.
