Joe Allen NeSmith – 67
Of Nashville, GA passed away on Friday, July 26, 2019 at his daughter’s home in Ray City, GA surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 12, 1952 in Moultrie, GA to the late Joseph and Illia (Harris) NeSmith. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a kind man who always enjoyed the outdoors, and “he always had to catch the biggest fish!” Along with his parents, he is proceeded in death by his sister, Dorothy NeSmith.
Survivors include his loving wife of 35 years, Shirley L. NeSmith of Nashville, GA; Children, Sandra and Ray Cersey of Ray City, GA, Joseph and Anna NeSmith of Wilsonville, OR, Deborah and Michael Exum of Jekyll Island, GA, Sheri Rogers of Nashville, GA, Katina and David Blount of Nashville, GA; 12 Grandchildren; 16 Great Grandchildren;2 Brothers and Sister-in-laws, Jimmy and Betty NeSmith of Landrum, SC, Ray and Diane NeSmith of Sparks, GA;3 Sisters and Brothers-in-law, Pat and Jerry Cooper of Nashville, GA, Bertha and Lark Jones of Lenox, GA, Linda and Nelson Dean of Nashville, GA.
Funeral Services will be held graveside at 2 P.M. on Sunday, July 28, 2019, in the Cross Roads Cemetery, Adel, GA. Viewing will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2019 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
