He was born on October 11, 1921 in Berrien County to the late Willie and Annie Eliza Rodgers Royals. He served in the United States Air Force for 3 years and worked in the paint body shop for Murray Chevrolet. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Royals, a brother, James E. Royals, and a sister, Mary Magalean Watts.
His survivors include:
Brothers & Sister-in-Laws, William B. & Bernice Royals of Lakeland, GA; Joseph & Frances Royals of Lakeland, GA; Sister, Willie Mae Bass of Live Oak, FL; A number of nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, March 30, 2013 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in the Good Hope Cemetery in Lowndes County.
