John William Durrance - 62


Of Lakeland passed away early Sunday morning October 12, 2003 at his residence after a battle with cancer. He was born and had lived most of his life in Lanier County. He served his Country in Vietnam with the U.S. Marine Corps. He farmed and was a carpenter. His passion for hunting and fishing was known by all, especially his family and close friends. He was a member of the Unity United Methodist Church. He was Proceeded in death by his parents Alton and Olif Durrance and his brother Earl Durrance by only one day.

Sister and Brother-in-Law Linda Gail and Mike White Valdosta, GA

A number of nieces and nephews


Funeral services were held at 3:00 PM Tuesday October 14, 2003 in the Unity United Methodist Church with burial following in Mud Creek Cemetery in Lanier County.
