John B. Folsom, Sr. - 66.


Of Lake Park, GA passed away early Saturday afternoon July 22, 2006 in South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, GA after a brief illness. John was born December 31, 1939 in Lowndes County, Ga to the late William and Mary Bell Thornton Folsom. Mr. Folsom was the owner and operator of Folsom Body Shop and Auto Sales in Valdosta, He served in the United Stated Navy , was a member of Azalea Masonic Lodge # 716, American Legion Post # 13, The Hassan Temple, and was a Royal Arch Mason. And was also a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Valdosta. He is preceded in death by his parents, a Brother William A. Folsom, Jr., and 3 sisters, Louise Feagle, Eula Mae Ashley, and Irma James.

Graveside services were held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday in the Spring Head Cemetery in Cook County with full Masonic Rites The Family will receive friends Monday July 24, 2006 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be sent to the Shriners Hospital
