John “Randy” Gay - 52
Of Valdosta passed away Sunday, January 20, 2008 at the Hospice House after a lengthy illness. He was born in Valdosta on October 29, 1955 to the late John R. & Essie Carter Gay. Mr. Gay enjoyed fishing, playing with his dog “Adolph”, and playing his guitar. He was Methodist by faith. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Bobby Gay, Jimmy Gay & Billy Gay.
Survivors include:Daughter, Lisa Gay, Germany, Son, Brad Reaves, Valdosta, GA, 3 Grandchildren, 2 Sisters & Brothers-in-law, Maxine & Reece Coody, Valdosta, GA, Hazel & Eddie Bynum Valdosta, GA, A number of nieces and nephews
Memorial services will he held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 24, 2008 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with Chaplain Skip Van Nus officiating. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Hospice of South Georgia, 2263 Pineview Drive, Valdosta, GA. 31602.
