John Scott Logan age 66
of Lakeland, Georgia, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024 at his home. He was born on May 21, 1957 in Campbellsville, Kentucky to the late Jack L. Logan and Beverly Scott Nunley. He was raised by Beverly and Richard Nunley, his stepfather, whom he dearly loved and respected.
John proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 25 years. He retired as a Senior Master Sergeant working as a Munitions Systems Superintendent. He also served as a deputy with the Lanier County Sheriffs Office. John was an extraordinary gunsmith, storyteller and cook. He loved to gather family and friends together over a great meal and a good drink.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Clarissa Larson Logan.
Survivors include his daughter, Kristina Logan-Livingston of Knob Noster, Missouri; granddaughter, Angelica Swartz; stepdaughter, Twyann Johnson of Minot, North Dakota; step granddaughter, Alyssa Johnson; sisters: Tamara Johnson (Gregory) of Dawsonville, Georgia, Beth Bigelow (Mark) of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Alicia Riggs (Alan) of Greensburg, Kentucky, Amanda Reeves of Cumming, Georgia; Half-sister Stephanie Logan (Jonathon) of Colorado Springs, Colorado ; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
