John William Manson, Jr – 38
Of Hahira, passed away on Wednesday September 8, 2021 at Langdale Hospice House in Valdosta. He was born in Brunswick, Georgia on April 8, 1983 to John William Manson, Sr and Teresa Kelley Moffitt. He was a server working with Huddle House in Adel, Georgia. He was a great singer who always had a song, and a talented artist who loved to draw and paint. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert H. Moffitt.
Survivors include his mother, Teresa K. Moffitt and husband, Clay Griffis of Hahira, Georgia; father, John William Manson, Sr of Panama City, Florida; children, Aaron Manson of Hahira, Georgia, Ayden Manson of Hahira, Georgia, step-sister, Danielle Thorne and husband, John of Hahira, Georgia; step-sister, Mindy Sadler of Pinetops, North Carolina; step-brother, Chad Griffis and wife, Whitney of Naylor, Georgia; half-sister, Morgan Manson of Swan Quarter, North Carolina; half-sister, Kellie Manson of Brunswick, Georgia; aunt, Laura Ferrell and husband, Bill of Panama City, Florida; aunt, Cathy Jones and husband, James of Brunswick, Georgia and numerous cousins and extended family members.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family requests that no flowers be sent and that memorials be made to the Langdale Hospice House, 2263 Pineview Drive, Valdosta, Georgia 31602.
