John Wesley Moore, Sr. – 67
Of Hahira, Georgia passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Georgia. He was born on December 4, 1953 in Jacksonville, Florida to Robert and Hazel (Hubbard) Moore. Mr. Moore proudly served our country in the United States Air Force and was a member of the American Legion Post 13. He loved sports especially football and you could find him cheering on his favorite team, the UGA Dawgs. He enjoyed spending his time fishing, hunting and frying a turkey. You could also find him watching NASCAR or coaching soccer. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Philip Moore, Brother-in-Law, Bubba Hendrix, and Mother-in-Law, Josephine Sudderth.

Grandchildren, Kelsey and Nolan Parker, Lily K, Adria, JJ, Austin, Ava, Lil Sal, Angelina, Dante, Ella, Lacey, Levi, C.J., Colten, Cohen, Alexis, Zakry, Hunter, Kynleigh, Gabi, Diego, Bibi, Mari;

Brother, Robert “Robbie” and Jovie Moore of Jacksonville, Florida; Sister, Donna Moore Lorenz of Jacksonville, Florida;

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, September 30, 2021 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at the funeral home. Sweet messages and kind words may be left at our website
