John Wesley Moore, Sr. – 67
Of Hahira, Georgia passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Georgia. He was born on December 4, 1953 in Jacksonville, Florida to Robert and Hazel (Hubbard) Moore. Mr. Moore proudly served our country in the United States Air Force and was a member of the American Legion Post 13. He loved sports especially football and you could find him cheering on his favorite team, the UGA Dawgs. He enjoyed spending his time fishing, hunting and frying a turkey. You could also find him watching NASCAR or coaching soccer. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Philip Moore, Brother-in-Law, Bubba Hendrix, and Mother-in-Law, Josephine Sudderth.

Sons and Daughter-in-Law, Johnny Moore of Lake Park, Georgia,
Joseph and Heather Pettus of Valdosta, Georgia.
Grandchildren, Kelsey and Nolan Parker, Lily K, Adria, JJ, Austin, Ava, Lil Sal, Angelina, Dante, Ella, Lacey, Levi, C.J., Colten, Cohen, Alexis, Zakry, Hunter, Kynleigh, Gabi, Diego, Bibi, Mari;
Great Grandchild, Greyson;
Brother, Robert “Robbie” and Jovie Moore of Jacksonville, Florida; Sister, Donna Moore Lorenz of Jacksonville, Florida;
Sister-in-Law, Dana and Will Snyder of McDonough, Georgia;

Nephew, Marcus and Alexis Ransom and their children of Adel, Georgia
Brother from another mother, Wayne and Joyce Ransom of Villa Rica, Georgia,
Father-in-Law, Earl Hendrix.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, September 30, 2021 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
