Of Valdosta passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was born in Iowa on June 19, 1935 and had lived in Valdosta for the past 20 years. He was a member of Francis Lake Golf Course where he enjoyed gathering up with his friends every Wednesday to playing a round of golf. Mr. Peterson retired from Union Tank Car and served in the United State Air Force. He was preceded in death by his mother, Veda Cast.

Memorial services were held at 3:30 P.M. Wednesday, March 8, 2006 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services.
