John Richard “Rickey” Howell – 62
Of Valdosta passed away on Friday, July 2, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Valdosta Georgia on November 17, 1958 to the late John Robert and Maxine Stokes Howell. He was a farmer and a mechanic at Smith Tire for over 16 years. After his career with Smith Tire, he owned and operated Rickey’s Tire and Auto. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, working in his garden and spending time with his grandbaby who was his pride and joy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Spouse, Debbie Howell and his nephew, Rodney Copeland.

Daughter: Ashley Lacole Howell and David Hoskins Lake Park, Georgia Granddaughter: Journey Ann Hoskins Brothers: Robbie and Carolyn Howell of Lake Park, Georgia; Gary and Adlelee Howell of Lake Park, Georgia, Sisters Teresa and John Copeland of Clyattville, Georgia
Janet and John Hyams of Lake Park, Georgia Brenda Gail Howell of Lake Park, Georgia Nieces and nephews: Dahlia Sikes, Rebecca Sikes, Robbie Howell, Jr., Crystal Weatherford, Amy Searson, Bryan Howell, Cindy Schostag, Kelly Hall, Gary Howell, Jr, Brittany Hunt, Michelle Howell, Justin Johns, Robert Johns, Tiffany Graham, Great Nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Graveside services will be held Monday, July 5, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. in the Howell Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 A.M until 12:00 P.M.
