Of Berrien County, Georgia passed away early Friday morning April 14, 2006 at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was born on March 31, 1942 to the late Holman Harges & Elizabeth Taylor Strickland in Coffee County, Georgia. He lived most of his life in Berrien County, Georgia. Mr. Strickland retired from the United States Air Force after serving our country for 20 years. He was a member of the National Cherokee Nation, Nation Rifle Association and Nation Fishermen Association. He was preceded in death by his step-mother, Lillie Mae Strickland.

Memorial services were held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, April 17, 2006 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with John Jacobs officiating.
