October 10, 1939 in Valdosta, Ga. He retired after 19 years of service with the City of Gardner, Massachusetts as a mechanic. He is preceded in death by his father, the late James Thomas, mother, the late Sally Mae Hix. He loved fishing, watching Nascar and spending time with his family.
He leaves to cherish: Wife, Donna E. Thomas; 2 Sons, Earl Thomas Gerone, Stephen Norwood Kim; 3 Daughters, Velma McClain, Cheryl Archibold Mark, Loretta Battle Ceasar; Sister, Carrie Mae Huston; 14 Grandchildren, Johnny C. Thomas Sally, Cawanna Robinson Ulysees, Kristy Thomas, Montego Thomas Missy, Travis Thomas Joanna, Kacey Thomas, LaShonda Thomas, Jonathan Thomas, Lillian Horton Cedric, Alexander J. Thomas, Dana Hilton Jr., Jonathan Hilton, Kaitlyn Norwood, McKenna Norwood; 46 Great Grandchildren and 6 Great, Great Grandchildren, Mother- in-law and Father-in-law, Olive and Peter Bourque and a number of nieces and nephews.
