John Robert Westberry Sr.-57
Of Stockton, GA passed away Friday, February 22, 2013 at Louis Smith Memorial Hospital after a sudden illness. He was born on February 13, 1956 to Bobbie Kate Johnson Westberry and the late Johnnie Westberry in Lowndes County Georgia. After serving with the Army as a Motor Transport Operator he worked in the woods as a pulp wood logger. He then went on to become a proud National Certified Animal Control Officer for Tri County 911 for over 5 years. He was a member of Azalea Lodge #719. He will be truly missed by his family and many friends. Along with his father he was also preceded in death by a Sister and Brother-in-Law Jane and Robert Stephens, Two Brothers-in-Laws Rod Lindley and Carter Meeler, and a Niece Stacie Anne Lindley.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 25, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in the Stockton Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Stockton Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 24, 2013 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Music Funeral Services of Lakeland.
