John Robert Wisenbaker Jr.

John Robert Wisenbaker, Jr., age 37, died, Saturday evening, July 31, 2021 at the St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. He was born in Valdosta Georgia to Lee Adriane Minter and John Robert Wisenbaker, Sr. He was a loving son, well mannered, very polite, loved music, very intelligent, loved to garden and enjoyed cooking. John was courageous and fought a long hard battle with cancer and has now overcome. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Doris Rogers and William Gordon Wisenbaker and maternal grandparents, Helen Jeannette Mercer and Eugene Linden Minter, Sr; two aunts: Marie Wisenbaker Waters and Genie Minter, two cousins, Serra Wisenbaker and John Swann.
Survivors include his parents, Lee M. Wisenbaker and John R. Wisenbaker, Sr., of Valdosta, Georgia; brother, Jarid Wisenbaker and wife Kaitlyn of Valdosta, Georgia; sister, Jodi Lynn Wisenbaker of Senoia, Georgia; Will Wisenbaker and fiancé Alexis Rivera of Valdosta. Aunts and Uncles: William “Buddy” Wisenbaker of Dasher, Betty and Ron Barton of Sautee, Georgia, Larry Wisenbaker and Wife Elizabeth of Hahira, Georgia, Terry Hart of Valdosta, Georgia, Lisa Swann of Valdosta, Georgia, Belinda Eudy and Husband David of Clyattville, Lin Minter and wife Tracey of Clyattville, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 5, 2021, at Music Funeral Services, Valdosta Chapel. Interment will follow in Dasher Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, on Wednesday August 4, 2021, at the funeral home.
