Johnny Marlin Jordan – 74
Of Lakeland, Georgia passed away on Monday December 7, 2020 in the South Georgia Medical Center after an illness. He was born on May 10, 1946 in Ray City, Georgia to the late Margret Scarborough Jordan and Louis Austin Jordan. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Micheal Jordan and a daughter, Gay Jordan.
Johnny was a member of The First Baptist Church of Ray City; former leader of “Men on A Mission”; served in Mexico and Central America as well as Appalachians and the local area. He was a lab technician with Arizona Chemical.
Survivors include his wife J. R. Jordan of Lakeland, Georgia; Son, Kelly Austin Jordan of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, step-son, Marc Rench and wife Brenda of Hartford City, Indiana; step-daughter, Jodi Michelle Rench of Hahira, Georgia; granddaughter, Toni Michelle Routhiere (Jamie) of Valdosta, Georgia and a great-grandson, Flynn Campbell Routhiere.
The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
