Johnny Steven Brown Jr. 41 –
Of Hahira, GA passed away unexpectedly February 22, 2019 at South Georgia Medical Center. Johnny was born October 9, 1977 in Hahira, GA to the late Johnny Steven Brown Sr. and his Mother, Deborah June Brown (Lott). He was a welder and worked for Langdale Forestry Products. Johnny enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Johnny would help anyone that asked for his assistance, so much so, before his passing one of his final wishes was to be an organ donor so that his giving heart would continue to help those in need. He is proceeded in death by his father, Johnny Brown, Sr.
Survivors include: wife of 18 years, Allie Brown (Metts) of Hahira, GA; sons, Tripp and Landen Brown of Hahira, GA; mother, Debbie Brown (Lott) of Valdosta, GA; brother, Paul Brown of Hahira, GA; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 1, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. in the Valdosta chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial in Long bridge cemetery in Berrien County. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. As per the families request, in lieu of flowers please make donations to the family or to the funeral home to go towards Johnny’s children’s education.
