Jonnie Bennett

Jonnie Bennett – 88 of Valdosta, GA passed away on Monday April 20, 2020 in her home after a lengthy illness. Jonnie was born on March 15, 1932 in Statenville, GA to the late Joseph and Viola (Petty) Rewis. She worked at Bayliner for many years. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Joseph “Darrell” Bennett; Brothers: Glenn Rewis, James Rewis, Nathan Rewis, Walter Rewis, and Talmadge Rewis; Sister, Brunell Sutton.
Survivors include Sons and Daughters-in-law: James “Jeff” Jasper Bennett, III and wife, Bobbie of Lake City, FL, Timothy Bennett and wife, Barbara of Valdosta, GA; Daughter, Brenda Johnson of Jesup, GA; Grandchildren: Terry Alan Bennett (Stephanie), Shana Tillman (Chris), Erin Sowell (Jeff), Sarah Bennett, Tracey Bennett; Great Grandchildren: Tyler, Danielle, Ashli, N.J., Hailey, McKinley, Meagan, Daniel, Keaton. Sisters: Betty Jo Davis of Yulee, FL, Ora Lee Rhoden (Buddy) of Jacksonville, FL, Shirley Bradford of Valdosta, GA; Numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A private graveside service will be held at Wayfare Cemetery in Echols County. Special messages may be left to the family at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
