Joseph Darrell Bennett

Joseph Darrell Bennett, 54, of Valdosta passed away Friday, February 12, 2010 at his residence after a brief illness. He was born on September 23, 1955 to Jonnie Rewis Bennett of Valdosta and the late James Jasper Bennett, II. He was employed at Lowe’s Distribution Center in the maintenance department. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brothers & sisters-in-law, Jeff & Bobbie Bennett of Lake City, FL; and Timmy & Barbara Bennett of Valdosta, GA; his sister, Brenda Johnson of Jesup, GA; his nieces, Shana Chris Tillman; Erin Johnson; Sarah Bennett; and Tracy Bennett; and his nephew, Terry Stephanie Bennett; Two great nieces; and two great nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 14, 2010 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Wayfare Cemetery in Echols County. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, February 13, 2010 at the funeral home.
