Joseph Benjamin Muscarella, Jr.

Joseph Benjamin Muscarella, Jr., 70, of Quitman, Georgia, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, February 12, 2026.

Born on July 24, 1955, in Saugerties, New York, he was the son of the late Joseph Benjamin Muscarella, Sr. and Marie Santa (Videllia) Muscarella. Joe proudly served his country in the United States Army, honoring his commitment with dedication and integrity.

Joe built a career as a commercial truck driver with Pam Transport, where he found great satisfaction in life on the open road. He truly enjoyed being an over-the-road driver and took immense pride in his work, valuing the independence and responsibility that came with it.

Outside of work, Joe found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved cooking meals for those he cared about, spending peaceful days fishing, camping under the open sky, and during his younger years, working on old cars. Above all else, Joe treasured time spent with his family. His love for them was steadfast, and his greatest happiness came from being surrounded by those he held dear.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Renee A. Muscarella of Quitman, Georgia; his children: Aundrea Muscarella of New York, Joseph Benjamin Muscarella III (Lavetta) of England, Mario Muscarella (Molly) of Fairbanks, Alaska and Vincenzo Muscarella (Jessica) of Quitman, Georgia; 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; his siblings: Mark Muscarella (Michelle) of Michigan and Geraldine Mulligan; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
