Of Nashville, GA passed away on July 31, 2016 in Lee, Florida. He was born on January 18, 1940 in Quitman, GA to Arthur and Evelyn Jordan Hurst. He worked at Nashville Mills for many years and was a member of the New Hope Church. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two of his brothers, David Hurst and Bobby Hurst and one of his sisters, Jewell McCullars.

Per his wishes, Tommy will be cremated and his ashes will be placed in Westview Cemetery. Graveside services will be held 5:00PM on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Westview Cemetery in Nashville, GA.
