Josephine Sudderth- 82 of Hahira, Georgia passed away on April 25, 2021 at Heritage House in Valdosta, Georgia. She was born on April 23, 1939 in Fairburn, Georgia to the late Hugh and Vernie (Lowry) Brock. Josephine loved to watch the Atlanta Braves, soap operas “stories”; and was a lover of Nascar as well. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Grady E. Sudderth, her son, Alfred Lee “Bubba” Hendrix; sisters: Polly Patton and Susie; brothers: Fred Brock, Ed Brock, Robert Brock, Hubert Brock, and John Brock.
Survivors include: 3 daughters: Myra Moore and husband John of Hahira, Georgia, Crystal Williams of Lake Park, Georgia, Dana Snyder and husband Will of McDonough, Georgia; 6 grandchildren: Candice Hennessey, Tiffany Deloach and husband Bryan, Joseph Pettus and wife Heather, Courtnee Macias and husband Steven, Marcus Ransom and wife Alexis, and Samantha Snyder; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; A special niece, Louise, and a number of other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 28, 2021 in the Valdosta chapel of Music Funeral Services, with a graveside service to follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens.
