Joshua Brian Housman, age 38, of Hahira, Georgia, passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday, August 24, 2024. Born on January 12, 1986, in Lanham, Maryland, Joshua was the cherished son of the late Randall Housman and Ruth Ann (Roderick) Housman.
Joshua was a dedicated Business Process Consultant at CDK Global, where his expertise and commitment shone brightly. Beyond his professional life, he was a remarkably talented musician with a deep passion for guitar. His musical journey included playing in various bands, each reflecting his unique talent and love for music.
An avid gamer, Joshua found great joy in playing Rocket League and exploring the vibrant worlds of video games. His enthusiasm extended to sports, where he was a devoted fan of the Baltimore Orioles and the Washington Redskins. Joshua also relished watching wrestling and mixed martial arts, finding excitement and entertainment in these dynamic sports.
His vibrant spirit and diverse interests touched many lives, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Gwendolyn "Gwinnie" Housman.
Survivors include his son, Silas "Silly Butt" Housman; grandparents, Albert Roderick (Annie Ruth) of Ingold, North Carolina; uncles: Brian Roderick of Stevensville, Maryland, David Roderick of Weatherford, Texas; cousins: Sarah Roderick of Glen Burnie, Maryland, Isabelle Roderick of Ridgley, Maryland, Sebastian Roderick of Weatherford, Texas, Samuel Roderick of Weatherford, Texas, Olivia Roderick of Weatherford, Texas; sister, Randi Sheesley of Jacksonville, Florida; best friends: Joseph “Joe” Michael Haynes of Hahira, Georgia, Tyce Hancock of Adel, Georgia.
