Joyce Kinard Davis

Joyce Kinard Davis – 87 of Milledgeville, Georgia passed away in the late hours of Monday December 21, 2020 in the Green Acre’s Nursing Home. Joyce was born on May 24, 1933 in Lenox, Georgia to the late Estelle (Pafford) Kinard and Edison Franklin Kinard. She worked many years as a nurse, store owner and homemaker. Joyce is preceded in death by her loving and beloved husband, “Duck” (Sidney Eugene) Davis, Sr.; brothers: Dennis McCranie, Dan McCranie, Charles McCranie, and Richard Kinard; Sisters: Jeanette McCranie, Jewell Bennett and Jean May.
Survivors include her children: Deborah Simpson of Nashville, GA, Brenda and J.C. Campbell of Jacksonville, FL, Teresa Nall of Independence, VA, Edith Faith Davis of Milledgeville, GA, Sidney Eugene Davis, Jr. and Kathy of Milledgeville, GA; Sisters and brother-in-law: Julia and Terry Arthur of Tifton, GA; Sister-in-law, Barbra Kinard; She is also blessed with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
