He was born on January 25, 1962 in Hahira, GA to the late Bill Phillips and Hazel Mathis Phillips Stone of Lakeland. He was Baptist by faith. Along with his father he is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Andy Phillips & Ronnie Phillips and 2 nephews, Little Andy Phillips and Robbie Phillips.
Survivors Include: 2 Sons & Daughters-in-law, J.R. & Jessika Phillips, Jr., Naylor, GA, Billy & Alexa Phillips, Lakeland, GA; 3 Grandchildren: Levi, Gage & soon to be Johnny Case; Mother of his children: Melissa Vickers Phillips Lee, Lakeland, GA; Mother & Step-Father, Hazel & Ronnie Stone, Lakeland, GA; Brother, Robert Phillips, Lakeland, GA; Sister & Brother-in-law, Mary Lou & Felton Hall, Hosford, FL; Sister-in-law, Julia Phillips, Lakeland, GA; Nieces: Tina, Amanda & Jessie; Nephew: Randall and several aunts, uncles & cousins
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 4, 2015 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow at Guthrie Cemetery.
