Juanita Zipperer – 92
Of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at the Presbyterian Home. Born on August 7, 1932, she was the daughter of the late L.Z. Lawhorn and Mattie Dismuke Lawhorn. Nita had a deep love for flowers, cherished the fellowship of her church friends, and found great joy in spending time with her family. Juanita was a member of Central Avenue Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands: John M. Nesmith and Roy M. Zipperer; her brothers: Clyde Lawhorn and Charlie Lawhorn; her stepson Hugh Zipperer; and her stepdaughter Darlene Rowland.
Survivors include her daughter Marcia Steinberg (David Jr.) of Valdosta, Georgia; her stepdaughter-in-law Beverly Zipperer of St. Augustine, Florida; her stepson Alan Zipperer of Jacksonville, Florida; nine grandchildren: Stacy Kendrick (Chris), David Steinberg (April), Brooke White (Charles); great grandchildren: Zoe Kendrick, Ivy Kendrick, Caroline White, Cooper White, Chance Steinberg, and Bentley Steinberg; special friend, Cindy Copeland of Valdosta, Georgia; numerous step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
