Judith Ann May

Judith Ann May, age 77, of Valdosta, GA, passed away on January 27, 2026, at Pruitt Health – Magnolia Manor in Moultrie, GA. She was born on April 8, 1948, in Philadelphia, PA to the late Francis James, Sr. and Marie Colleen (Womelsdorf) Shingle. Judith was a former employee of St. Christopher’s Children’s Hospital. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Francis Gaeta, Sr. and second husband James May.

Survivors include her daughter, Amanda Ginchereau of Jacksonville, FL; son, Richard Gaeta (Stephanie) of Philadelphia, PA; three grandsons, Colin Ginchereau of Valdosta, GA, Luke Ginchereau of Thomasville, GA, and Blake Gaeta of Philadelphia, PA; three great grandchildren: Oliver, Liam, and Grayson Ginchereau; brother Francis J. Shingle of Bensalem, PA; along with numerous extended family members.
