Judy Gail Evett – 59
Of Valdosta passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at South Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. Evett was born on September 14, 1960 to Carlis Randolph and Sadie Mae (Williams) Stephens in Homerville, GA. She was a member of Trinity Baptist church and she enjoyed exploring the internet on her computer,watching cooking shows and loved being a “MeMe”. Judy is preceded in death by her mother.
Survivors include: Husband of 43 years, Ralph Evett of Valdosta; Daughter & son-in-law, Chrystal Gail and Timothy William Powell; Son, William Ralph Evett, Jr.; Grandsons, Titus William Powell and Gunner William Evette; Brother and sister-in-law, Carlis “Randy” and Phyllis Stephens; Sister, Kathy Griffin; Sister and brother-in-law, Robbie and Cecil Hiers; Special granddaughters, Jessica and Jaymie Grimes, along with many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at 3:00 PM in Oak Hill cemetery, Quitman, GA. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital. For those people unable to attend, we ask that you call prior to the service so that we may write your name in the guestbook to honor Judy.
