Judy Ann North, 61
Of Stockton, GA passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at her residence. She was born July 25, 1956 in Live Oak, FL to William Edward and Lillian (Guthrie) Floyd. She was the founding member of the Stockton Fire Department Auxiliary and was known as the Fire Department “Mom”. She had a passion for making flower arrangements and Native American arts and crafts. Judy worked as a social worker for DFACS for many years. She was a faithful member of Wayfare Primitive Baptist Church for many years. Along with her father, she is preceded in death by a son, Derek North.

Husband of 46 years, Jimmy North of Stockton, GA; Sons and Daughters-in-Law, James Chad & Christy North of Stockton, GA, Curtis Bryan & Ashleigh North of Stockton, GA, John Ryan & Christine North of Stockton, GA; Mother, Lillian Floyd of Live Oak, FL; Daughter-in-law, Ruby North of Lakeland, GA; Eleven Grandchildren and Three Great grandchildren; Three Brothers: Jerry, Charles, and Mark; Four Sisters: Trudy, Carolyn, Linda, and Regina; And numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Wayfare Primitive Baptist Church in Echols County with burial to follow in the cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services. Messages of sympathy may be expressed online at
