Judy Josephson Schreiber – 79
of Valdosta, GA passed away on Monday, March 9, 2015 in the Langdale Hospice House. She was born on January 9, 1936 in Chicago, IL to the late William Henry Meyer and Dorothy Proudfoot Meyer. Judy was active in and a supporter of many community activities including the Valdosta Symphony Guild, Readers Forum and Board, Turner Center for the Arts Board, VSU Scholarship Alliance Board, VSU Opera Board, and a prospective member of the James Jackson Chapter of the DAR. She also loved to volunteer her time to the American Red Cross. Judy was a cat lover. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Shreiber.
Her survivors include: Daughters & Sons-in-Law; Susan & Kenneth LaJeunesse of St. Augustine, FL, Jayne Pusheck of Chicago, IL, Lisa & Steven Ross of Beaverton, OR,
Grandchildren; Eden Ross, Asher Ross, Bay Ross, Step Daughters & Step Sons-in-Law; Lee A. Josephson of Nashville, TN, Julie & Clark Walker of Tifton, GA; Step Grandchildren; Bryson Walker & Claire Walker.
As per Mrs. Schreiber's wishes she will be cremated. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Langdale Hospice House, 2263 Pineview Drive, Valdosta, GA 31602.
