Of Valdosta passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born on October 29, 1929 to the late Clayton C. Daniel and Edna (Mixon) Daniel. She was part of the SGMC Auxiliary Pink Ladies for 21 years and worked over 4,300 hours helping in several positions with Program Chair being her last position. Many also know her for her famous pear tarts! She enjoyed fishing, spending time with her grandkids, family gatherings, and being around those she loved and cherished. She was a long standing member of Grace Community Chapel. She was also a member of the Azalea Garden Club and Wednesday Morning Sewing Club of Valdosta for many years. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas B. Norris, Son, Jimmy Norris, and Sister, Jackie D. Paulk. Survivors include: 2 Daughters & Son-in-law, Marsha Webb, Valdosta, GA, Charlotte & Greg Turner, Quitman, GA, 2 Sons & Daughters-in-law, T.C. & Stevie Norris, Dasher, GA, Bobby & Jo Norris, Alapaha, GA,
Grandchildren: Shane & Jewels Norris, Max & Melissa Remon, Travis & Jennifer Norris, Robby & Melissa Norris, Clay & Rhonda Norris, Jennifer Webb Peace & Ben Allred, Sharon Webb, Jasper Norris, Brent & Karli Turner, Jamie & Kasey Turner & Matthew & Kayla Turner, 11 Great-Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 1, 2018 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with a burial to follow at Springhill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Irwin County, GA. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.
