Karen Ross Verbeke, age 74, died, Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at her residence with her family present.
Karen was born February 26, 1946, in Cleveland Ohio to the late, Evelyn Gladys Myers and Michael Emrisek. She was employed as a Toll Worker at the Ohio Turnpike with Ohio Department of Transportation; she was the owner of “Groucho’s” in Valdosta, now known as “Mikki’s”; she said things the way it was! Loved her family. Karen was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband and father of her children, James Patrick Ross and her second husband Steven Verbeke.
Survivors include her children: James Ross and wife Cynthia; daughter, Sharon Ross; grandson, Drew Tandy, all of Hahira Georgia and her brother-in-law: Carl Verbeke of Americus, Georgia
