She was an equestrian and enjoyed traveling. Kathie had an outgoing personality and loved people.

Per Kathie's wishes, she will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services.
