Of Savannah, GA. passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2005 in Emanuel County Nursing Home in Swainsboro, GA. after a lengthy illness. She was born in Lanier County, GA. on March 21, 1935 to the late Mack & Laura Sirmans. She was a member of Clayton Miller Methodist Church in Savannah, GA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Howell Fender, son Steven Howell Fender, sister, Bernice Nix and brother, Charlie Sirmans.

Funeral services were held at 6:00 P.M. Friday, November 11, 2005 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with Rev. Tony Crosby officiating. A family committal service was held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 12, 2005 at Fender Cemetery.
